Overview
Visit wilderness areas and fish streams full of Trout that may not have seen an angler for a while. The fish are wild bred and fight hard. No previous experience is necessary, we will teach you everything. Are you prepared for a challenge?

Description
The alpine high country consists of high mountains, snow-capped in winter and deep valleys holding sparkling rivers, lakes and streams that are home to wild trout, also platypuses and other native animals.

The Kiewa Valley:
Kiewa, pronounced ‘key-wah’, is an aboriginal word meaning sweet water. The Kiewa Valley is a dairy and beef cattle area through which flows the Kiewa River, providing excellent trout fishing and safe swimming for kids, inner tube floating and canoeing as it flows through the townships of Mt Beauty and Tawonga, enroute to the Murray River at Albury.

Over Nine Blue Ribbon Rivers to Fish. Home water is the Kiewa River, one of just two designated premier trout rivers in Victoria, Your guide can introduce you to another nine magnificent rivers, four lakes and numerous mountain and wilderness streams, all full of brown trout and rainbow trout.

The fish are wild bred and fight hard, having more spirit and staying power than hatchery bred trout that are released into rivers elsewhere. As a bonus, you will be able to revisit any of these streams later on by yourself, although a 4WD vehicle may be required to reach some.

Private Waters ‘ Wildwood Willows‘ is a series of large pools and a small creek loaded with brown, brook and rainbow trout that will thoroughly test your fishing skills. These trout are ‘catch and release‘, although they can be purchased on capture for $10.00 per kilogram. An average fish costs $12.00 with some up to $50.00 each.
Different trips are designed to meet the needs of first-timers, occasional anglers and die-hard enthusiasts.

Tour times are between 8:00am–8:00pm in Summer, and 9:00am–6:00pm in Winter.
